Primal Power Training is based in Huntington Beach, California and run by Kevin Wikse, certified Macebell Mauler, multiple time world record setter and holder and world renowned authority on grip strength, heavy and light club swinging, the Macebell/Gada, strand pulling or strength cables.

Primal Power Training (PPT) is NOT for everyone. PPT is for people who want the strength of a circus strongman/woman, the girt of an old-time take all challengers carnival wrestler and the never say die staying power and endurance of a Viking berserker.

    If basic fitness and general conditioning is your goal, working with me is probably not for you. However if you are dead set on learning how to develop a primal strength that is exceedingly rare and a little frightening to other people with the endurance and toughness to match... you’ve come to the right place. 

     PPT focuses on strength/endurance conditioning. The foundation of PPT is HEAVY leg building and grip strength work, followed by focusing on abberviated routines of  simple natural based movements, treating the body as one whole unit/muscle instead of a collection of parts.

    Using modern variants of ancient tools to forge not only a strong and durable body but a warrior spirit along with it and lastly hoisting heavy weight during modified metabolic condition routines.

     It’s tough and boarder line brutal, but possible. If you give it your best, your heart and your mind come into alignment and carry your body through. I will be there to encourage and support you the entire time.

     PPT is about rediscovering the “origins of strength”, and simplifying what has become needlessly complex and over thought.

     Strength and Endurance is amazingly simple and the methods to achieve both and in levels that will far exceed other are also simple, but simple DOES NOT mean easy. Because the work is hard  others add needless complexity to try and find a short cut to what is a direct path to true power. Truth is, they don't want to do the REAL work and it shows.

     PPT is about finding yourself and establishing goals that better define who are really are and developing new and greater strength, health and endurance in achieving them.
